Hike Rewards Terms and Conditions

The Hike Rewards Terms and Conditions ("Rewards Terms") govern your participation in the Hike Rewards programme. By using Hike Rewards, you agree to these Rewards Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions and the Hike Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms used in these Rewards Terms and not defined below have the meaning given to them in the Hike Terms and Conditions and the Hike Privacy Policy.

1. Hike Rewards Programme

Hike Rewards is a promotional loyalty programme ("Hike Rewards") made available through the Platform wherein eligible users may earn virtual promotional points called "Hike Coins" through missions, referrals, Spin the Wheel and other qualifying activities; and redeem eligible Hike Coins for rewards listed in the redemption catalogue ("Rewards").

Rewards are provided as part of the Services and are subject to these Rewards Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions, the applicable conditions displayed on the Platform and any additional terms applicable to a particular Reward. The eligibility criteria, manner of earning and claiming Hike Coins, Hike Coin conversion or value (where applicable), redemption process, applicable daily or monthly limits, validity, expiry, claim periods and other conditions relating to Rewards will be displayed in the relevant Rewards section of the Platform and may be updated from time to time.

Hike relies on push notifications to alert users that a Reward is ready to claim and that the Hike Coins are about to expire within 7 calendar days.

2. Hike Coins are promotional points

Hike Coins are not money, legal tender, deposits, securities, payment instruments, stored value, cryptocurrency, investment or any other financial product. Hike Coins cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, assigned, pledged, exchanged for cash or cashed out. Any displayed conversion or indicative value is solely for determining the applicable redemption requirement and does not represent a cash value or monetary entitlement.

Redemption Caps: 5,000 Hike Coins per day, and 1,20,000 Hike Coins per month.

3. Eligibility

Hike Rewards may be limited by age (as per Clause 3 of the Hike Terms and Conditions), location, Account status, campaign, device, phone number, Partner (as defined below) or other criteria.

You will not use Hike Rewards to manipulate, exploit, automate, abuse or otherwise misuse any Reward, including by creating or using multiple accounts, using bots or automated means, generating fraudulent referrals or engaging in fraudulent, deceptive or other activities intended to improperly obtain Rewards. Hike may exclude an Account, device, transaction or referral where reasonably necessary to comply with law or prevent fraud, abuse, manipulation or duplicate participation.

4. Missions and claims

Missions may include messaging, media sharing, voice notes, audio/video calls, group creation, reactions, referrals or other activities displayed in the Platform. A mission is complete only after Hike verifies the required activity.

A manually claimable mission Reward must be claimed within 7 calendar days after the underlying activity unless another period is displayed. Daily missions may expire at the end of the applicable day according to Hike systems' applicable time.

5. Coin expiry and FIFO

Each Hike Coin expires 30 calendar days after credit according to Hike systems' applicable time. Expired Hike Coins cannot be restored except to correct a confirmed technical error or where required by law. The oldest available Hike Coins will generally be used first when a redemption is processed. Wallet or transaction history may show expiry information where technically available.

6. Referral programme

A referral Reward is credited only when the referred person uses the applicable link or code, creates a qualifying new Account and completes the displayed requirements, including first login where applicable. Clicks and installations alone do not qualify. Self-referrals, duplicate registrations, fake Accounts, automation, collusion and manipulation are prohibited. Hike may reject, reverse or withhold a referral Reward where eligibility is not satisfied or abuse is suspected. Referral and anti-fraud records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for programme administration, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance and dispute resolution, subject to the Hike Privacy Policy.

7. Spin the Wheel

If available, one free spin may be provided per Account per applicable day. Hike Coins from a spin are credited automatically without a manual claim step. The reset timing will be determined according to the time maintained by Hike's systems. The result is determined server-side when the user selects spin; and animation on the user-end does not determine or change the result. Reward ranges and mechanics may be modified prospectively subject to applicable law and notice where practicable.

8. Redemption catalogue

Available Rewards may include mobile recharge, data top-up, vouchers, gift cards or other rewards listed in the Platform.

Users must actively confirm each redemption. Before confirmation, the Platform will show the Reward name, Hike Coin cost, Hike Coin balance, delivery information, applicable Partner, number or account details, validity of the Reward, redemption restrictions, cancellation, refund and fulfilment conditions, and material conditions where applicable.

Mobile recharge options may be limited to the telecom operator associated with the Account phone number. For Amazon/Meesho/PhonePe, Hike will show the coupon/gift-card code to the user, and the user will go to the respective website/app to redeem it.

9. Processing and failed redemption

A redemption may show processing, generated, delivered, expired, failed or another status. If Hike confirms a redemption failed before successful delivery, Hike will restore the applicable Hike Coins, subject to technical verification and applicable law. A processing status does not itself mean failure. Restoration may not be available for successful delivery, incorrect user information or an expired delivered voucher, except where required by law.

10. Rewards Records and History

Hike may maintain an append-only or otherwise controlled ledger as the primary operational record of Hike Rewards activity. Duplicate events may be rejected. Confirmed technical or administrative errors may be corrected through an adjustment or explanatory record without deleting the underlying audit trail. Wallet and transaction history may show earned, redeemed, expired, reversed and other entries.

11. Account deletion, logout and suspension

Logout does not pause Hike Coin expiry or deadlines.

Deleting the Account may immediately forfeit unredeemed Hike Coins, pending claims and other unfulfilled rewards, subject to applicable law and redemptions already confirmed by Hike.

Users must not manipulate, exploit, automate, abuse or otherwise misuse the Rewards, including by creating or using multiple accounts or engaging in fraudulent or deceptive activities to obtain Rewards. Hike may suspend, deactivate or terminate Rewards access and may cancel, reverse, withhold or forfeit benefits where fraud, abuse, manipulation, automation, security breach, or violation of the Reward Terms, Hike Terms and Conditions, or Hike Privacy Policy is suspected. Hike may retain records required for legal compliance, audit, fraud prevention, accounting and dispute resolution.

12. Changes, pause and discontinuation

Hike may change, pause or discontinue Hike Rewards or any part of it for legal, regulatory, technical, security, fraud-prevention, Partner, operational or business reasons. Material changes will be notified through the Platform where reasonably practicable. Unless otherwise stated, changes apply prospectively and do not affect a redemption already confirmed by Hike. Any updated conditions will be displayed in the relevant Rewards section of the Platform.

13. Third-party rewards and data

Rewards may be fulfilled by third-party providers ("Partner(s)"). Partner terms, validity, availability, restrictions and privacy policies may apply.

Where a Reward is issued, redeemed or fulfilled through a third-party website, application or service, the applicable terms, conditions, eligibility, validity and fulfilment of that Reward will be the responsibility of the relevant third-party partner. Your use of such third-party services will also be subject to the applicable terms and privacy policy of that third party.

14. Taxes

Users are responsible for understanding and complying with any tax obligations that may apply to receipt or use of rewards. Hike may withhold, report or request information where required by law.

15. Complaints and disputes

Rewards complaints may concern mission verification, referrals, balances, expiry, eligibility, redemption, Partner fulfilment or account-linked activity. Provide the Account identifier, relevant transaction details, date/time and screenshots where available. Hike may rely on ledger, logs and Partner records when investigating a complaint. The governing law and dispute-resolution process set out in Clause 13 (Governing Law) and Clause 15 (Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution) of the Hike Terms and Conditions applies, including the Grievance Officer contact recorded there.

16. Privacy and Personal Data

Participation in Hike Rewards involves the processing of personal data for specific purposes, including:

verifying qualifying activities for missions (using activity and usage data such as call duration and timestamps, message and media send events, voice-note length, group membership and sticker or reaction activity);
processing redemptions and fulfilling Rewards (using the Hike Coin ledger, the mobile operator and number used for a recharge redemption, and transaction identifiers shared with a voucher or recharge Partner); and
preventing manipulation, fraud or abuse.

This processing is governed by, and further described in, the Hike Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, Hike may share relevant information such as phone number, Reward selection, transaction identifier and delivery information with Partners and service providers for these purposes, as described in the Hike Privacy Policy.

You may withdraw any consent given by you at any time in the manner described in the Hike Privacy Policy. Such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal, and will not restrict Hike's ability to retain or process information where necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, audit or dispute resolution, as described in the Hike Privacy Policy. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to participate in Hike Rewards.

17. Relationship with Hike Terms and Conditions

These Rewards Terms should be read together with the Hike Terms and Conditions and the Hike Privacy Policy. If there is any inconsistency between these Rewards Terms and the Hike Terms and Conditions, the Hike Terms and Conditions will prevail, except to the extent that a specific Reward expressly provides otherwise.

Processing of personal data in connection with Rewards is governed by the Hike Privacy Policy, including the specific-purpose provisions recorded in Clause 16.

The provisions of the Hike Terms and Conditions, including Abuse Notification (Clause 10), Limitation of Liability (Clause 11), Indemnification (Clause 12), Governing Law (Clause 13), Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution (Clause 15), and Miscellaneous (Clause 16) apply to Hike Rewards as if set out in these Rewards Terms, save where these Rewards Terms expressly provide otherwise.

Hike Leaderboard – Terms and Conditions

1. Leaderboard Promotion

1.1. These Hike Leaderboard Terms and Conditions ("Leaderboard Terms") govern your participation in the Leaderboard promotion ("Leaderboard"). Leaderboard is organised by Hike Messenger Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Hike" or "us" or "we" or "our", which expression shall, unless it be repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, be deemed to mean and include its successors and assigns). Leaderboard is offered by Hike on the Hike mobile application, website, and any related digital products, services, features, interfaces, or channels operated, owned, or made available by Hike through which Leaderboard is offered and accessed ("Platform").

1.2. For the purpose of these Leaderboard Terms, "you", "your" or "User" shall mean any individual who wishes to participate in Leaderboard. By participating in Leaderboard in the manner provided under Clause 2 hereinbelow, you agree to these Leaderboard Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions ("Hike Terms and Conditions"), the Hike Rewards Terms and Conditions ("Rewards Terms"), and the Hike Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"). Capitalised terms used in these Leaderboard Terms and not defined below have the meaning given to them in the Hike Terms and Conditions, the Rewards Terms, and the Privacy Policy, respectively.

1.3. These Leaderboard Terms govern your eligibility for, and the manner of earning Leaderboard Points (as defined herein), Hike Coins (as defined herein) and Physical Gifts (as defined herein) under Leaderboard. The Rewards Terms govern Hike Coins from the time they are credited to your account. In the event of any inconsistency, these Leaderboard Terms will prevail in respect of eligibility and earning, the Rewards Terms will prevail in respect of credited Hike Coins, and subject to Clause 11.9, the Hike Terms and Conditions will prevail in all other respects.

1.4. In these Leaderboard Terms:

"Cycle" shall mean each fixed period during the Leaderboard Promotion Period over which Leaderboard Points are accumulated and Users are ranked, being a Daily Cycle, a Weekly Cycle or a Monthly Cycle, as set out in Clause 3.2;
"Cycle Type" shall mean each of Daily Cycles, Weekly Cycles and Monthly Cycles;
"Daily Cycle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.2(a);
"Final Rankings" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 5.2;
"Hike Coins" shall mean virtual promotional points earned through participation in Leaderboard;
"Leaderboard Points" shall mean the points earned by you for Qualifying Actions in accordance with Clause 4, which are used only to determine your Rank in a Cycle;
"Leaderboard Promotion Period" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.1;
"Monthly Cycle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.2(c);
"Physical Gift" shall mean a tangible, non-cash gift that Hike may, at its sole discretion, declare on the Platform for one or more of the Ranks in the Final Rankings for a Cycle;
"Qualifying Actions" shall mean the actions on the Hike mobile application, as notified by Hike on the Platform from time to time, for which Leaderboard Points are awarded;
"Rank" shall mean your position on Leaderboard in a Cycle relative to other participating Users, determined in accordance with Clause 5;
"Rewards" shall mean the rewards listed in the redemption catalogue of the Rewards Terms; and
"Weekly Cycle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 3.2(b).

2. Participation in Leaderboard

2.1. To participate in Leaderboard, you must:

be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
hold a valid account on the Platform that is not suspended, deactivated or restricted; and
satisfy any other eligibility criteria applicable under Clause 3 (Eligibility) of the Rewards Terms or displayed on the Platform.

2.2. You may participate in Leaderboard only through one (1) account. No participation by proxy will be allowed.

2.3. Leaderboard ranks Users against each other on the basis of their activity on the Platform. Users earn Leaderboard Points for Qualifying Actions, the Leaderboard Points earned by each User during a Cycle are added up, and Users are ranked by their total Leaderboard Points for that Cycle.

2.4. You will be included in Leaderboard for a Cycle on earning your first Leaderboard Point in that Cycle.

2.5. Your Rank depends solely on your accrual of Leaderboard Points relative to other participating Users. Hike's determination of whether you have completed a Qualifying Action and accrued Leaderboard Points is final, and in case you seek any clarification or have any grievance on the subject matter, please reach out to Hike using the process detailed in Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution (Clause 15) of the Hike Terms and Conditions.

2.6. Participation in Leaderboard is free. No purchase, payment or deposit is required to participate, and Hike Coins cannot be used to participate.

2.7. Hike may, at any time before crediting Hike Coins or delivering a Physical Gift, require you to provide proof of your age, identity and residence. If you do not provide such proof within the time specified by Hike, or if you are found not to meet the requirements of Clause 2, you will be disqualified and will not be entitled to any Hike Coins or Physical Gift for the relevant Cycle.

3. Leaderboard Promotion Period and Cycles

3.1. Leaderboard will commence on dates and times that are notified by Hike on the Platform and will continue until it is withdrawn or discontinued by Hike at any time in accordance with Clause 10 ("Leaderboard Promotion Period").

3.2. During the Leaderboard Promotion Period, Leaderboard will run in the following Cycles, which will run concurrently and each of which will be followed immediately by the next Cycle of the same Cycle Type:

Daily Cycles, each commencing at 00:00:00 hours and ending at 23:59:59 hours according to Hike systems' applicable time, on the same calendar day ("Daily Cycle");
Weekly Cycles, each commencing at 00:00:00 hours on a Monday and ending at 23:59:59 hours according to Hike systems' applicable time, on the immediately following Sunday ("Weekly Cycle"); and
Monthly Cycles, each commencing at 00:00:00 hours on the first day of a calendar month and ending at 23:59:59 hours according to Hike systems' applicable time, on the last day of that calendar month ("Monthly Cycle").

3.3. These Leaderboard Terms, as amended by Hike from time to time in accordance with Clauses 10 and 11.7, as displayed on the Platform, will govern the Leaderboard.

3.4. If Leaderboard is withdrawn or discontinued, the Leaderboard Promotion Period will end at the time of withdrawal or discontinuation and Clause 10.3 will apply. No Leaderboard Points may be earned after the end of the Leaderboard Promotion Period.

3.5. The first Daily Cycle, Weekly Cycle and Monthly Cycle will each run from the commencement of the Leaderboard Promotion Period until the end of that calendar day, week or month respectively, even if it is shorter than a full Cycle. Thereafter, each Cycle will run in accordance with Clause 3.2.

4. Leaderboard Points

4.1. You will earn Leaderboard Points for Qualifying Actions completed on the Hike mobile application during a Cycle and verified by Hike, without any manual claim step.

4.2. Leaderboard Points are not Hike Coins. They have no monetary or redemption value, cannot be purchased, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged, and are used only to determine your Rank in a Cycle.

4.3. Your Leaderboard Points for a Cycle Type will reset to zero (0) at the start of each new Cycle of that Cycle Type. Leaderboard Points do not carry forward from one Cycle to another Cycle of the same Cycle Type.

4.4. Leaderboard is available only on the Hike mobile application. Any activity carried out on the web version of the Platform or through any interface of the Platform other than the Hike mobile application, will not be treated as a Qualifying Action, will not earn any Leaderboard Points and will not be counted towards the calculation of your Rank. To participate in Leaderboard, you must use the Hike mobile application.

5. Rankings

5.1. Participating Users will be ranked in each Cycle in descending order of the total Leaderboard Points earned by them in that Cycle. Each Cycle Type will have a separate Leaderboard and your Rank in a Cycle of one Cycle Type will not affect your Rank in a Cycle of any other Cycle Type. During a Cycle, Leaderboard will be displayed on the Platform to allow you to monitor your Leaderboard Points and Rank. Ranks displayed during a Cycle are provisional and may change.

5.2. Ranks for a Cycle will become final and will be published on the Platform within forty eight (48) hours of the end of the Cycle, after Hike has completed its verification ("Final Rankings"). Before publishing the Final Rankings, Hike may adjust Leaderboard Points and provisional Ranks, including to remove Leaderboard Points earned in breach of Clause 9 of these Leaderboard Terms. Subject to Clause 7.3, the Final Rankings shall be determined by Hike on the basis of the records available to it.

5.3. At the end of a Cycle, where two or more Users have the same total Leaderboard Points, each of the tied Users will receive the average of the aggregate Hike Coins available for all tied positions for the relevant Cycle Type (rounded down to the nearest whole Hike Coin). Illustration: If two Users are tied at the 4th and 5th Ranks in the Leaderboard at the end of a Cycle, then both Users will receive the average of Hike Coins available for the 4th and 5th Ranks. Where any of the tied positions carries a Physical Gift declared for that Cycle, no Physical Gift will be awarded for that position. Instead, the value of that Physical Gift, as determined by Hike in Hike Coins, will be added to the aggregate Hike Coins available for the tied positions and distributed equally among all the tied Users (rounded down to the nearest whole Hike Coin). Each tied User will receive only such equal share of Hike Coins and will not be entitled to any Physical Gift, additional Hike Coins or any other Reward for the tied positions. The resolution of any tie, including the determination of the value of any Physical Gift and the distribution of Hike Coins under this Clause, shall be determined by Hike at its sole discretion and Hike's decision shall be final and binding on all Users.

5.4. Leaderboard will display your display name (in a masked form), Rank and total Leaderboard Points to other Users. Your profile picture and phone number will not be displayed.

6. Hike Coins

6.1. Hike Coins will be credited to your account in accordance with your Rank in the Final Rankings, as displayed by Hike on the Platform for the relevant Cycle, automatically and without any manual claim step, generally within forty-eight (48) hours of the publication of the Final Rankings, save where the credit is delayed by a technical issue or by an action under Clause 9.2, in which case Hike will credit the Hike Coins as soon as reasonably possible.

6.2. In addition to Hike Coins, Hike may, at its sole discretion, offer Physical Gifts for one or more of the first three (3) Ranks in the Final Rankings for a Cycle, on a tiered basis by Rank. Physical Gifts will be offered for a Cycle only if Hike declares them on the Platform before the start of that Cycle, together with the Physical Gift for each eligible Rank. Subject to Clause 10 & 11.8, once declared, a Physical Gift will not be withdrawn or reduced during that Cycle. The offer of Physical Gifts for one Cycle does not oblige Hike to offer them for any other Cycle. Save for Physical Gifts, Leaderboard Points and Hike Coins are the only rewards available in Leaderboard.

6.3. To receive a Physical Gift, you must provide your delivery details and any identity or other information requested by Hike through the Platform within two (2) days of the publication of the Final Rankings, failing which the Physical Gift will lapse. If you do not provide the requested details within this period, the Physical Gift for your Rank will be forfeited. It will not be awarded to you or reallocated to any other User and no Hike Coins or other substitute will be provided for it. Hike will deliver the Physical Gift at its own cost to any address in India. Where you require delivery to an address outside India, all costs of such delivery, including shipping, insurance, customs duties and import taxes, shall be payable by you, and Hike may require payment of such costs before dispatch and may decline delivery to any location where it is not permitted by applicable law. Physical Gifts are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for cash, Hike Coins or any other gift, save in the case of a tie as provided in these Leaderboard Terms. Where a declared Gift becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Hike's reasonable control, Hike may replace a Physical Gift with another gift of equivalent value. Any warranty for a Physical Gift is provided by its manufacturer or supplier and not by Hike. Any tax payable in respect of a Physical Gift, including any tax required to be deducted at source, shall be borne by you, and Hike may require you to pay such tax before the Physical Gift is delivered.

6.4. Once credited, Hike Coins are governed entirely by the Rewards Terms, including Clause 2 (Hike Coins are promotional points), Clause 5 (Coin expiry and FIFO) and Clause 8 (Redemption catalogue) of the Rewards Terms. In particular, each Hike Coin credited under Leaderboard will expire thirty (30) calendar days after the date of its credit.

7. Technical Issues

7.1. If Hike confirms that an outage, error or failure of Hike's systems prevented Qualifying Actions completed by you from being recorded, Hike will credit the applicable Leaderboard Points before the publication of the Final Rankings, where reasonably possible based on available records.

7.2. Clause 7.1 above does not apply to issues arising from your device, network connectivity, operating system, third-party services or other circumstances outside Hike's systems. Hike shall not be responsible for any technical failure, malfunction or other issue resulting in your account not being properly registered on, or being deregistered from, the Platform.

7.3. If you believe that your Leaderboard Points or Rank have not been recorded correctly, you may raise a complaint in the manner set out in Clause 15 (Complaints and disputes) of the Rewards Terms within seven (7) days of the publication of the Final Rankings for the relevant Cycle. Hike, in its sole and absolute discretion, shall decide whether the Qualifying Actions have been duly completed and the Leaderboard Points and Rank correctly recorded, on the basis of records available to it.

8. Notifications

8.1. Hike may send you notifications about Leaderboard, including your Leaderboard Points and Rank. Hike shall take best efforts to ensure that such notifications will be accurate and will not misstate your Rank, the time remaining in a Cycle or the Hike Coins available.

8.2. You may switch off Leaderboard related notifications at any time through the settings on the Platform. Switching off notifications will not affect your participation in Leaderboard. Such action may not affect any notifications issued in relation to Rewards that are ready to be claimed or Hike Coins that are about to expire within seven (7) calendar days, as described in Clause 1 of the Rewards Terms.

9. Fair Play

9.1. You undertake that you will participate in Leaderboard yourself, and you will not earn or attempt to earn Leaderboard Points through bots, scripts, or other automated means, artificial or repetitive activity to earn Leaderboard Points, multiple accounts, collusion with other Users or the exploitation of any error or bug on the Platform.

9.2. Where Hike reasonably suspects a breach of this Clause, or of Clause 3 (Eligibility) of the Rewards Terms, Hike may remove Leaderboard Points, adjust your Rank, disqualify you from Leaderboard, withhold or reverse Hike Coins credited under Leaderboard, in accordance with the Rewards Terms, and withhold any Physical Gift that has not been delivered. Hike will notify you of any such action through the Platform, and you may contest it in the manner set out in Clause 15 (Complaints and disputes) of the Rewards Terms. The provisions of Clause 11 (Account deletion, logout and suspension) of the Rewards Terms shall apply to any Leaderboard Points and Rank in case of any account deletion, suspension, or change in credentials.

10. Changes and Discontinuation

10.1. Hike may amend the Leaderboard rules, including Qualifying Actions, Leaderboard Points and available rewards, at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Platform and apply prospectively from the date specified by Hike. Such changes will not affect Hike Coins, Physical Gifts or other Rewards already earned or declared. Hike may implement changes immediately where required by law or a competent authority, or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or security risks.

10.2. Hike reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or discontinue the Leaderboard, in whole or in part, at any time. Any such suspension, withdrawal or discontinuation shall be communicated to users through the Platform. During any period of suspension, no Leaderboard Points shall accrue for the affected period, and the suspension shall not extend or otherwise alter the duration or scheduled end date of the relevant Cycle.

10.3. Upon discontinuation, ongoing Cycles will end, and Hike may determine the applicable rankings and rewards based on points earned up to the discontinuation date. Points and Ranks that have not resulted in an entitlement to rewards may lapse. However, Hike Coins already credited and Physical Gifts or other Rewards already earned or declared will remain claimable or redeemable, as applicable, in accordance with these Terms. No additional rewards will accrue after discontinuation, subject to applicable law.

11. General

11.1. Intellectual Property/Third Party Rights: By submitting any content on the Platform or otherwise to Hike, you agree to grant Hike a royalty-free, world-wide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable and assignable right to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, translate, create derivative works from, transmit, and share your content and to otherwise use such content. Such content may include, without limitation, your name, username, location, and testimonial. You further agree and acknowledge that Hike has the right to use in any manner whatsoever, all communication or feedback provided by you. Users may, at the request of Hike, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding Leaderboard, free of charge, and they consent to Hike using their name, likeness and image in all promotional activities undertaken by Hike.

11.2. Waiver: Your participation in Leaderboard is at your own risk and strictly in accordance with these Leaderboard Terms. Hike bears no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your participation in Leaderboard, and you waive any claims against Hike in relation thereto.

11.3. Breach of Terms: Any breach of these Leaderboard Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions, the Rewards Terms, and/or the Privacy Policy will automatically void your participation in Leaderboard. If a breach of any of these Leaderboard Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions, the Rewards Terms and/or the Privacy Policy is discovered after the credit of the Hike Coins or the award of a Physical Gift, then Hike has the right to cancel such Hike Coins or Physical Gift awarded to you.

11.4. Disclaimer: You acknowledge and agree that:

Hike shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of any third party and hereby expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability in that regard;
Hike shall neither be liable nor responsible for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by you as a result of participating in Leaderboard or accepting the Hike Coins/Rewards, or any injury or damage to your or any other person's personal property, including but not limited to a computer or mobile phone, relating to or resulting from participation in Leaderboard;
the Hike Coins/Rewards and Physical Gifts awarded are personal to the Users, are not transferable and cannot be sold under any circumstances;
no Hike Coins/Rewards will be awarded if the information furnished by the User at the time of participating in Leaderboard or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect;
the Rewards redeemable as a result of obtaining Hike Coins shall be governed by the Rewards Terms. You are aware that participation in Leaderboard does not guarantee a particular Rank, any Hike Coins or a Reward to you; and
all collection, storage, use and disclosure of any personal information provided by you to Hike will be in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11.5. Promotional Communication: You hereby agree to receive promotional and marketing communication including but not limited to email communication/newsletters, WhatsApp messages, mobile SMS, calls, from Hike from time to time.

11.6. Data Processing: Participation in Leaderboard involves the processing of your activity and usage data on the Platform to verify Qualifying Actions and determine your Leaderboard Points and Rank, and the display of the information described in Clause 5.4, as described in Clause 16 (Privacy and Personal Data) of the Rewards Terms and the Privacy Policy.

11.7. Amendment of the Leaderboard Terms: Subject to Clause 10 above, Hike reserves, at its discretion, the right to: (i) vary these Leaderboard Terms at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to the opening and closing times of the Leaderboard Promotion Period and the Cycles; (ii) withdraw, vary or substitute the Hike Coins associated with Leaderboard; and/or (iii) withdraw or discontinue Leaderboard at any time, for any reason and without any prior notice, in accordance with Clause 10.2. Any such amendment shall take effect only from the time it is displayed on the Platform.

11.8. Force Majeure: Hike shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performing its obligations under these Leaderboard Terms, including the publication of Final Rankings, the credit of Hike Coins and the delivery of Physical Gifts, to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, fire, flood, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, government or regulatory action, changes in applicable law, failures of internet or telecommunication networks, cyberattacks, and failures of third-party service providers or delivery partners. During any such event, Hike may extend the relevant timelines, suspend Leaderboard or any Cycle, or replace a Physical Gift with a gift or Hike Coins of equivalent value, and, where the event continues for more than thirty (30) days, may end the affected Cycle in accordance with Clause 10.3. Hike will inform you of any such action through the Platform as soon as reasonably possible. Leaderboard Points, Hike Coins and Physical Gifts earned before the event will be honoured once the event ends, save where Clause 10.3 applies.

11.9. The provisions of the Hike Terms and Conditions, including Abuse Notification (Clause 10), Limitation of Liability (Clause 11), Indemnification (Clause 12), Governing Law (Clause 13), Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution (Clause 15) and Miscellaneous (Clause 16) of the Hike Terms and Conditions apply to Leaderboard as if set out in these Leaderboard Terms, save where these Leaderboard Terms expressly provide otherwise.

Hike Streaks - Terms and Conditions

1. Streaks Promotion

1.1. These Hike Streaks Terms and Conditions ("Streaks Terms") govern your participation in the Streaks promotion ("Streaks"). Streaks is organised by Hike Messenger Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Hike" or "us" or "we" or "our", which expression shall, unless it be repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, be deemed to mean and include its successors and assigns). Streaks is offered by Hike on the Hike mobile application, website, and any related digital products, services, features, interfaces, or channels operated, owned, or made available by Hike through which Streaks is offered and accessed ("Platform").

1.2. For the purpose of these Streaks Terms, "you", "your" or "User" shall mean any individual who wishes to participate in Streaks. By participating in Streaks in the manner provided under Clause 2 hereinbelow, you agree to these Streaks Terms, the Hike Terms and Conditions ("Hike Terms and Conditions"), the Hike Rewards Terms and Conditions ("Rewards Terms"), and the Hike Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"). Capitalised terms used in these Streaks Terms and not defined below have the meaning given to them in the Hike Terms and Conditions, the Rewards Terms, and the Privacy Policy, respectively.

1.3. These Streaks Terms govern your eligibility for, and the manner of earning Hike Coins (as defined herein) under Streaks. The Rewards Terms govern Hike Coins from the time they are credited to your account. In the event of any inconsistency, these Streaks Terms will prevail in respect of eligibility and earning, the Rewards Terms will prevail in respect of credited Hike Coins, and the Hike Terms and Conditions will prevail in all other respects.

1.4. In these Streaks Terms:

"Completed Day" shall mean a Day of a Streak Journey on which you complete at least one Mission;
"Day" shall mean a calendar day commencing at 00:00:00 and ending at 23:59:59 according to Hike systems' applicable time;
"Hike Coins" shall mean virtual promotional points earned through participation in Streaks;
"Mission" shall mean any mission made available to you on the Platform under the Rewards Terms from time to time, the completion of which is verified by Hike in accordance with Clause 4 (Missions and claims) of the Rewards Terms. For the avoidance of doubt, Streaks does not have any separate or Streaks-specific missions;
"Rewards" shall mean the rewards listed in the redemption catalogue of the Rewards Terms;
"Streak" shall mean a run of consecutive Days during a Streak Journey on each of which you complete at least one Mission; and
"Streak Journey" shall mean a period of thirty (30) consecutive Days commencing on Day 1, being the first Day on which you complete a Mission after your previous Streak Journey has ended in accordance with Clause 2.4 (or in the case of a first Streak Journey, the Day on which you start your Streak Journey) during the applicable Streaks Promotion Period (as defined herein), and ending on the earlier of (i) completion of Day 30, (ii) the failure to complete a Mission on any Day during such period, or (iii) the expiry or end of the applicable Streaks Promotion Period.

2. Participation in Streaks

2.1. To participate in Streaks, you must:

be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
hold a valid account on the Platform that is not suspended, deactivated or restricted; and
satisfy any other eligibility criteria applicable under Clause 3 (Eligibility) of the Rewards Terms or displayed on the Platform.

2.2. You may hold only one (1) active Streak Journey at any time, and only through one (1) account. No participation by proxy will be allowed.

2.3. Each Day on which you complete at least one Mission will be marked on the Platform as a Completed Day, and the Hike Coins applicable to that Day will be credited to your account in accordance with Clause 4 of these Streaks Terms.

2.4. If you do not complete a Mission on any Day of your Streak Journey, your Streak will end. The next Mission you complete will begin a new Streak Journey calculated from Day 1. Hike Coins already credited for Completed Days will not be affected.

2.5. Streaks does not offer any option to freeze, pause or protect a Streak, and there is no grace period for a missed Day, save as provided in Clause 5 of these Streaks Terms.

2.6. Completing more than one Mission on a Day will count as a single Completed Day for the purposes of Streaks. This does not affect any Hike Coins that may separately be earned for a Mission under the Rewards Terms.

2.7. Your Streak Journey will end on completion of Day 30. On completion of Day 30, your participation in Streaks will be complete and you will not be able to begin a new Streak Journey.

2.8. In addition to the Hike Coins for Completed Days under Clause 2.3, on reaching certain milestones during a Streak Journey, you may be eligible to unlock additional Rewards, which may include special vouchers, gift cards and access to a mega spin, through which you may win further Rewards, including physical Rewards. The milestones, the Rewards associated with each milestone and any terms applicable to them will be displayed on the Platform. The outcome associated with any mega spin is an additional Reward, and Hike does not guarantee that any additional Rewards will be won through a mega spin. Vouchers and gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of their respective issuers.

2.9. Additional Rewards unlocked under Clause 2.8 will be made available or delivered in the manner and within the timelines displayed on the Platform. To receive a physical reward, you may be required to provide accurate delivery details, and Hike shall not be responsible for non-delivery arising from incorrect or incomplete details provided by you.

2.10. Participation in Streaks is free. No purchase, payment or deposit is required to participate, and Hike Coins cannot be used to participate.

3. Streaks Promotion Period

3.1. Streaks shall commence on dates and times that are notified on the Platform and shall continue until Streak is withdrawn or discontinued by Hike in accordance with Clause 3.2 ("Streaks Promotion Period"). Hike shall retain the discretion to modify the dates relating to any Streaks Promotion Period, by way of a notice on the Platform.

3.2. Hike may withdraw or discontinue Streaks at any time without any prior notice on the Platform for any reason and the Streaks Promotion Period shall end at the time of such withdrawal or discontinuation.

3.3. A Streak Journey may be started on any Day during the Streaks Promotion Period, subject to Clause 2.7. However, a Streak Journey will automatically end at the end of the Streaks Promotion Period, including where Streaks is withdrawn or discontinued without prior notice. Accordingly, a User who starts a Streak Journey close to the end of a Streaks Promotion Period may not be able to complete all thirty (30) Days of the Streak Journey. No further Completed Days may be accrued and no further Hike Coins will be credited after the end of the Streaks Promotion Period.

4. Hike Coins

4.1. Hike Coins for a Completed Day will be credited to your account automatically after Hike verifies the completion of the Mission, without any manual claim step, and generally on the Completed Day itself.

4.2. In addition to Hike Coins, you may unlock additional Rewards on reaching certain milestones, as set out in Clause 2.8.

4.3. Once credited, Hike Coins are governed entirely by the Rewards Terms, including Clause 2 (Hike Coins are promotional points), Clause 5 (Coin expiry and FIFO) and Clause 8 (Redemption catalogue) of the Rewards Terms. In particular, each Hike Coin credited under Streaks will expire thirty (30) Days after the date of its credit.

5. Technical Issues

5.1. If Hike confirms that an outage, error or failure of Hike's systems prevented you from completing a Mission on a Day, or prevented a Mission you completed from being recorded, Hike will treat that Day as a Completed Day, will not treat your Streak as having ended, and will credit the applicable Hike Coins.

5.2. Clause 5.1 above does not apply to issues arising from your device, network connectivity, operating system, third-party services or other circumstances outside Hike's systems. Hike shall not be responsible for any technical failure, malfunction or other issue resulting in your account not being properly registered on, or being deregistered from, the Platform.

5.3. If you believe that a Day has not been recorded correctly as Completed Day, you may raise a complaint in the manner set out in Clause 15 (Complaints and disputes) of the Rewards Terms within seven (7) Days of the relevant Day. Hike, at its sole and absolute discretion, shall decide whether the Mission has been duly completed and the Day is a Completed Day, on the basis of records available to it.

6. Notifications

6.1. Hike may send you notifications about your Streak, including reminders to complete a Mission. Hike shall take best efforts to ensure that such notifications will be accurate and will not misstate the time remaining or the consequences of missing a Day.

6.2. You may switch off Streaks related notifications at any time through the settings on the Platform. Switching off notifications will not affect your participation in Streaks. Such action may not affect any notifications issued in relation to Rewards that are ready to be claimed or Hike Coins that are about to expire within seven (7) Days, as described in Clause 1 of the Rewards Terms.

7. Fair Play

7.1. You must not complete or attempt to complete Missions through bots, scripts or other automated means, artificial or repetitive activity carried out solely to complete Missions, multiple accounts, collusion with other Users, or the exploitation of any error or bug on the Platform.

7.2. Where Hike reasonably suspects a breach of this Clause, or of Clause 3 (Eligibility) of the Rewards Terms, Hike may end your Streak Journey, disqualify you from Streaks, and withhold or reverse Hike Coins credited under Streaks, in accordance with the Rewards Terms. Hike will notify you of any such action through the Platform, and you may contest it in the manner set out in Clause 15 (Complaints and disputes) of the Rewards Terms. The provisions of Clause 11 (Account deletion, logout and suspension) of the Rewards Terms shall apply to any ongoing Streak Journey in case of any account deletion, suspension, or change in credentials.

8. Changes and Discontinuation

8.1. Hike may amend the rules of Streaks, including Hike Coins and available rewards, at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Platform and apply prospectively from the date specified by Hike. Such changes will not affect Hike Coins or other Rewards already earned or declared. Hike may implement changes immediately where required by law or a competent authority, or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse or security risks.

8.2. Hike reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or discontinue the Streaks, in whole or in part, at any time. Any such suspension, withdrawal or discontinuation shall be communicated to users through the Platform. During any period of suspension, no Streak Points shall accrue for the affected period, and the suspension shall not extend or otherwise alter the duration or scheduled end date of the relevant Cycle.

8.3. Upon discontinuation, ongoing Cycles will end and Hike may determine the applicable streaks and rewards based on points earned up to the discontinuation date. Points and Streaks that have not resulted in an entitlement to rewards may lapse. However, Hike Coins already credited and other Rewards already earned or declared will remain claimable or redeemable, as applicable, in accordance with these Terms. No additional rewards will accrue after discontinuation, subject to applicable law.

9. General

no Hike Coins/Rewards will be awarded if the information furnished by the User at the time of entering Streaks or at any subsequent stage is factually incorrect;
the Rewards redeemable as a result of obtaining Hike Coins shall be governed by the Rewards Terms. You are aware that participation in Streaks does not guarantee a Reward to you; and
all collection, storage, use and disclosure of any personal information provided by you to Hike will be in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9.5. Promotional Communication: You hereby agree to receive promotional and marketing communication including but not limited to email communication/newsletters, WhatsApp messages, mobile SMS, call from Hike from time to time

9.6. Data Processing: Participation in Streaks involves the processing of your activity and usage data on the Platform to verify Missions and determine your Streak, as described in Clause 16 (Privacy and Personal Data) of the Rewards Terms and the Privacy Policy.

The provisions of the Hike Terms and Conditions, including Abuse Notification (Clause 10), Limitation of Liability (Clause 11), Indemnification (Clause 12), Governing Law (Clause 13), Grievance Redressal and Dispute Resolution (Clause 15) and Miscellaneous (Clause 16) of the Hike Terms and Conditions apply to Streaks as if set out in these Streaks Terms, save where these Streaks Terms expressly provide otherwise.
